Tenzing Yatra

Pick up from Bagdogra Airport or Station. Meet and greet on arrival, drive to Phuentsholing overnight stay.

Morning permit processing. Visit Kharbandi Gompa and Milarepa Lhakhang. Drive through spectacular mountain views and peaceful countryside to Thimphu — Bhutan's capital.

Full day sightseeing. Morning drive to Dochula Pass (3,080m) — most enchanting views of Bhutan. Drive to Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong built at the junction of Pho Chu and Mo Chu River, Suspension Bridge, Chimi Monastery.

SAARC Building (outside view), National Library, Handicraft Emporium, Simply Bhutan, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, Hindu Temple, Takin Reserve Centre, Tashichodzong — Seat of Government, Folk Heritage Museum, Zorig Chusum School of 13 Traditional Arts and Crafts, Buddhist Art Gallery, Clock Tower Square.

Full day sightseeing. Visit Nyamey Zam Bridge, Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, International Airport viewpoint, Tiger's Nest Monastery viewpoint, National Museum of Paro.

Morning drive from Paro to Phuentsholing overnight stay.

Drive to Bagdogra drop at airport or railway station. Tour ends with memorable experience of Bhutan.

Welcome at Gorakhpur Railway Station or Airport. Drive to Pokhara via Lumbini sightseeing — UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lumbini includes: Bodhi Tree and Pond, Ashoka Pillar, Pillar Edict of Ashoka, Eternal Peace Flame, Lumbini Garden, Burmese Lokamani Kala Pagoda, Chinese Maitreya Temple.

After breakfast: Vindhyavasini Temple, Fewa Lake (second-largest lake in Nepal), Tal Barahi Temple (boat ride to centre of Fewa Lake — under 10 minutes), Seti George, Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave, Devi's Fall, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. Evening free — explore Lakeside Market.

After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu. En-route visit Manokamna Devi Temple — Goddess of Fulfilling Wishes — cable car ride 9 minutes (at extra cost). Optional: river rafting.

After breakfast: Pashupatinath Temple (holiest Hindu temple on banks of Bagmati River), Guhyeshwari Devi Temple, Swayambhunath (~2500 year old site — Radiant Lotus of the valley, drained by Manjushree god of Wisdom), Boudhanath (world's largest stupa of Tibetan Buddhist Culture), Budhanilkantha Temple (largest stone sculpture of Lord Vishnu sleeping on serpents). Evening free to explore local market.

Early morning breakfast and check-out. Drive to Chitwan — located in Terai plains, once royal hunting grounds of Kings of Nepal, now a UNESCO National Park. Evening Elephant Safari in Chitwan National Park. Optional: Tharu Folk Dance slideshow, village walk, sunset view.

Morning Jungle Safari by Jeep or Elephant, Bird watching, Elephant Breeding Centre, optional elephant bath. Check-out and drive to Gorakhpur. Drop at Railway Station or Airport.
